2005 Ford five hundred

I'm having a problem with my traction control light is staying on any ideals where to start.had a problem with slides sticking on the brake pads would that cause the problem.

The first step would be to have the system scanned for trouble codes.
There may be a problem with one of the wheel speed sensors. It could be a problem affecting the ABS braking as well as the traction control system as they share the same controller.

I doubt sticking calipers or brake pads could cause any fault codes or traction control problems.
