92 Ford Ranger XLT with 2.9 V6 A4LD 4-speed automatic My transmission was rebuilt at a transmission specialist several days ago. I did not have time to research this and wait for shipping of a remanufactured transmission to do it myself. The new transmission works fine. But there is a 'ticking' sound coming from the torque converter. The ticking speeds up with the RPM when you press the accelerator pedal. It is always present if you are in neutral, park, drive.....etc. I crawled under the truck and checked for the obvious: 1. No loose mounting bolts 2. No loose bracket 3. No loose exhaust 4. No loose heat shields 5. No loose starter 6. No loose shifter linkage 7. no driveline issues 7. plenty of transmission fluid 8. It's not power steering low on fluid 9. No loose connections in the engine bay The sound is different up close when you are under the truck. It sounds more like a conveyor in an industrial setting, except not nearly as loud of course. Any idea what this might be before I bring it back to the service garage? They are aware of the sound but asked me to give it a couple weeks. I'm not waiting that long. This is not normal Will this website allow me to attache a smartphone audio recording file of the sound?

I have an '02 Silverado. I want a Harbor Freight winch mounted in the bed. I am not sure gow to wire it. I do not have one and I don't know what it does in this situation. A fuse or circuit breaker is all I understand and mt winch does have the circuit breaker. What kind of wire do I need? Etc. Can someone give me a boost on this project?
