Cool

The dishwasher should be connected to a hot water line only.
1. Check the cold water supply cut-off valve on the water heater to make sure that it is wide open. Cold water pressure into the heater = hot water pressure out.
2. If there is a hot water cut-off valve under the sink anywhere on the line to the dishwasher, make sure that it is wide open.
3. If all valves are wide open, you may have a restriction (old rubber washer, etc.) in the valve(s). Cut off the main water, take the valves apart to see if there is a restriction and clear it.
4. If you have old galvanized pipes, they are notorious for scaling up inside until they plug up completely. The only solution for them is replacement.
Let us know what you find.
Good luck!
Mike
