Question Old House Old Drainaige Correct way for Washer

I just bought a old house . In basement we have laundry facility. Right now the washer drains water to a hole(small well) which is attched to a pump which throws water outside on my property. I want to do it correct way. To throw water from Washer to Drainaige line.
Now Per my understanding I can get a extension on the drainage line and put the output of washer drain to this extension . But its not going to work since the height of sewer is little bit above so I don't think washer can throw direct water to drainage.
What are my other options?

Cool

A washing machine discharge pump is usually pretty powerful, and most can discharge to an overhead line from basement level.
You should be able to tap into a drain line.
Good luck!

You could add an ejector pump.
