Post Plumbing

So far, I have drained the hot water heater twice. No sediment whatsoever came out of the water outlet, just clear water. I have refilled the tank now and am turning the power back on. The temperature/pressure release valve seemed to work fine, the cold water in seems to be working fine. Right now what is happening since I drained the tank is that when I turn the hot water tap on water comes out at good pressure, then dwindles back down to a trickle. Any ideas ?

Please use the reply button to keep everything in the same thread. I believe the water heater is plugged up, and should be replaced.
