Exclamation Outside Fauctet

I am needing some help installing a fauctet.It's in the garage next to the water heater. Got the hole drilled,just need help about the water heater.Their is a valve on the cold side where I won't to go.When I cut in to that line will they be any preasure on it. I'll be using copper lines also,thanks for the help.

Depends. If you turn the valve off and release hot water pressure (open a hot faucet), you can cut in on the water heater side of the valve. If you are cutting in on the incoming side of the valve, you will need to turn off water to the house and crack a cold faucet.
