[Unhappy] leaky toilet flapper

My toilet keeps having a slow leak though the flapper. I have replaced the flapper two times. Once with a black model and then with a red flapper. I was told the red ones were better. It still leaked I took off the flapper and noticed that the stain mark on the flapper showed that it did not seat all the way around. It looked like there was a flaw in the flapper. So once again, I replace the red flapper with another red flapper. Guess what? It still leaks. What can I do?

, A possible reason for the toilet to leak is because the overflow
hose from the ballcock goes to far down into the overflow tube and the
pressure of the water prevents the flapper from seating properly.
Another reason could be with the hose to far down in the overflow
tube,it will siphon water out of the tank.
To check remove the hose from the overflowtube. If that was your
problem hook the hose to the top of the overflow tube.
