Attaching automatic Icemaker to filter

Hi! Is it hard to get my icemaker set up so that the water flows through my under-the-sink water filter first? I bought another water filter to connect to the icemaker water flow, but I just realized that it might be cheaper and easier to connect it to an existing water filter unit. If it's possible, could you help me out with instructions on how to do it? Thanks for your help!

Cool

No need to attach the ice maker water line directly to the under-sink filter.
Attach it to the pipe coming out of the filter, just as you would to any supply pipe . Most ice maker water supply kits kits come with a self-tapping saddle clamp just for the purpose.
Good Luck!
