Question water pump

I was losing water pressure , then no water at all . After a while the pressure came back . This repeated for a couple of days . Finally no water at all . I checked the fuses on the power switch to the pump , and found they had been blown . I replaced them and turned the switch on . they immediatly blew again . I don't know if this short is in the submersable pump or the pressure switch . Any ideas ? Thank you Keith .

Water pump

Keith,
Your best bet would be to have an electrician come in and check your system. The problem could be most anywhere.
I suspect that the pump motor's internal overloads were shutting the pump down for that couple of days that the water was coming and going. However, it appears that the problem has worsened and the fuses are now blowing.
An electrician with the proper tools should be able to pinpoint the problem fairly quickly. Hopefully the problem will be topside and not in the well.
Good luck,
