Framing for Plumbing Wall

We are gutting a bathroom dormer in a story and a half and plan to contract out the plumbing and electrical rework that will be needed. One wall where the two sinks will be is an outside dormer wall framed in 2x4's.

Is it necessary to frame this out to 2x6? If so, any ideas on how best to do this would be appreciated. Thanks.

2 x 4 wall will work in most cases, unless you need to run pipes larger then 3"
