Kitchen Faucet Vibrates.........

Whenever water is called for .....either hot or cold........the kitchen faucet jumps around/vibrates 3 or 4 times before it settles down........I'm suspecting the actual faucet, because it does it for either hot or cold.....but I am not sure. It does not matter whether the aerator is attached or not........the faucet is about 6 years old and is a water fall Delta......(not sure on the Delta).....I said Delta, because all the other fittings in the home are Delta........the home was certified for occ in Dec 96'. Any thoughts?? jd

Cool

Sounds like you need to replace the seats-and-springs.
You can do a Search above for Delta Faucets for the how-to.
You can also visit:

Good luck!

ok here is something to remember...........first, it was a delta waterfall ........twin handle.........with and this is the key........... it has a sprayer........would you believe a probable piece of solder........clogged the diverter for the sprayer.........since the home isn't that old and I bought it from a single builder.......he probably never noticed.......I always thought the pressure was slow or low............anyway replaced the 5$ diverter and got a spare......bingo........no jumping and plenty of water.....here endth the lesson.......
