Water backup when washing clothes

Help! When the washing maching is draining, the tub, toilet, and kitchen sink back up. The stuff that comes up looks like a mix of food from the kitchen sink and lint from the lalundry machine. After the toilet bubbles up, the bowl runs to 1/4 of full. Does this have anything to do with the recent cold snap?
Thanks!

Cool

Sounds like your drain line is partially clogged.
Open up a clean-out plug and snake the main drain line with a plumber's snake (can be rented).
Good Luck!
