Pump Pressure

It sounds like there my be air being introduced into the pump. Check all connections on the suction side for leaks.

Question WATER PRESSURE SURGE

Where would the suction side be located on pump?
We also had to replace a pipe comming from the well to the pump, this might be what you are talking about. Maybe it is leaking there. We did infact notice a slight bit of tention on the pipe we conected.
A friend told me it might be flote valve problem,He said that it might be the cause of the surging of water ,but I will check for leaks like pumpman was talking about. if you pumpman or anybody else has any sugestions let me know.
Thanks.

ANOTHER THING IS THAT PRESSURE WHEN'T TO NOTHING AFTER THE SURGING STARTED,BUT WHEN I CUT THE WATER OFF FOR A MIN. OR TWO, THEN CUT WATER BACK ON THERE IS THE WATER AGAIN, SURGE, PRESSURE GONE AGAIN.
