Kitchen island plumbing

I would like to install a sink in my center island in my kitchen. The supply lines are not a problem. My PVC waste line can run under the floor and be tied into a waste and vent about 5 feet away. The pipe diameter and slope would be fine. My question is would I need to have a looped revent inside the center island cabinet. How big should it be? I'm I even in the ballpark on this one?

Check with your Building Inspeciton Department for kitchen island sink venting local code requirements.
You may be able to use a Studor air admittance valve:

Also, you can do a Search above about loop vents. There have been posts on them before.
Good Luck!
