Unhappy Garage floor drain is clogged!

Can anybody shed some light on my situation? Just purchased the house a month ago and didn't notice till it snowed the other night and the cars covered with snow melted all over the garage floor.

I tried to drill deep into the hole with a long drill I had around but had no luck unclogging it.

My question is where does a typical drain go to? the street? or does it just go into the ground?

I think I may have to give the local Roto rooter a call but i would like the satisfaction of doing this myself.......

Cool

The drain should have a trap, and the line should be connected to your sewer line.
Garage floor drains collect a lot of dirt, and you may be able to clear it yourself with an electric roto-rooter.
Good Luck!
