Question Soap Bubbles up the Kitchen Sink

I have soap bubbles coming up my kitchen sink every once in awhile. There is a laundry room in the basement below, but the kitchen sink isn't blocked (it drains fine). I dumped some of that drain-o crap down the kitchen drain, but it didn't fix the problem. About a week later I saw the same fun bubbles. I didn't think it would really work, but couldn't think of anything else to try. Any ideas?

Cool

Caustic drain cleaners (which aren't very good anyway) are for total clogs only.
Pouring them down a sluggish, but still open, drain line will just let it run right past the partial clog, which you arrently have past the laundry room drain line.
Open up a clean-out plug and snake the main drain line. That will probably solve the problem before it gets worse.
Good Luck!
