Shower runs after being turned off.

The house is less then a year old.

When finsihed with the shower and the shower is turned off, the shower head leaks for another 5-10 seconds. Sometimes it will turn off fine but 3-5 minutes later it will start dripping water again.

Other then that, the shower head does NOT leak at all through out the day. It only leaks within the first 5 minutes after getting out of the shower.

Any ideas?

I have noticed a similar symptom in a lot of newer pressure balanced valves, specifically Price Pfister valves... It is not a problem, it is just mildly annoying... When you need to worry is when it starts leaking all the time... My personal feeling is the size of the new shower heads and all the crap they put in them that causes the residual water to take longer to drip out... I have also seen cases where the handheld type shower heads hold water in them and it siphons out slowly and causes that symptom as well...
