riser not level

Hi all,

I'm trying to install a shower drain but the riser is a about a 1/4 out of level.

After I install the shower drain it should sit flush with the subfloor in my shower(i'm putting a tiled shower floor in), but since the riser (drain pipe) is not level the shower drain can't sit on the subfloor like it is suppose to.

Any suggestions.

Ryan

Cool

Can you get to the drainpipe and trap under the shower (basement or crawlspace)?
You can cut it, straighten it, and put it back together with a coupling.
Good luck!

Well, the bottom of the shower is sloped with the mortar bed anyway, so you can make up the difference there usually... The drain doesn't have to be screwed all the way down to the level of the floor... You can just build the mortar up a little at the drain... If it is very crooked and will look bad, then you may have to put in the coupling as MatureGuy suggested...
