Angry Mansfield float shuts off too quickly

Installed new Mansfield float. The float shuts off the flow from the tank to the bowl after only 1/3 of water is emptied. How do I correct?

try moving the flapper chain to the last hole (if it has one)of the handle stem this will give the flapper more lift. also make the chain as tight as possible. if that doesnt work buy a diffrrent style flapper or they make a styrophome float that can put on the chain to keep it aflaot longer.

Sounds like you bought the ultra low flush version of the Mansfield flush valve... Go buy the one that is NOT low flush and rob the plunger from it and put in on the shaft of the one you have in now...
