valve seat broken off in shower faucet valve

when replacing the stems and valve seats in my shower, I must have overtightened the valve seat, because it broke off into the valve, leaving only the crown on my tool, with the threaded part inside.
Any ideas on where to go from here?

You need to get a small easy-out that will fit into the broken off seat threads, but large enough so that it won't hit the back of the faucet body.
Carefully tap it into the seat threads to where it gets a bite but will not damage the faucet body threads, and unscrew the seat threads out counter-clockwise.
Just for insurance, wrap a flat turn or two of teflon tape clockwise only around the new seat threads as the back ends faces you.

EASY-OUT
Good Luck!
