wax toilet seal

How can you tell if the toilet is leaking at the seal. I just installed it, and made sure the wax was nice and warm. Pressed it into hte toilet, and dropped it in place. I am just a little uneasy, and would love to be able to tell (now rather then later) if it is leaking into the subfloor.
Thanks for your previous & future help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If a seal is leaking, it usually means some water from under the toilet on top of the floor, or at least a distinct odor.
You should be able to easily tell if it is leaking or not.

I will fill you in on how to tell if a wax seal is leaking if you will tell me how you KNOW that the light in your fridge goes out when you shut the door... ...

You can always crawl under the house and see if you can see water seeping into the subfloor benieth the toilet.

If you know for sure when you set the toilet, that the wax did squeeze downward, then good chance it got a proper seal.
