Muddy smell in bathroom

Muddy smell in bathroom

When I am using the bathroom sink, it release some muddy smell. Only happen when i let the water running. Any idea?

You probably have some algae in the sink drain and maybe also the overflow hole.
Get some enzyme-based drain cleaner like DrainCare (it won't harm your sink or pipes).
Just follow the directions on the jug. It should eat out the algae in the drain overnight.
If that doesn't get rid of it, do it again in the drain, and then plug the overflow holes in the top of the drain with an old rag, and also pour DrainCare into the overflow hole.
Flush it all good with very hot water the next morning. Should get rid of the algae and the odor. If it persists, just do it again until it's gone.
