toilet repair

I installed two Smartvalve 2000 ball cocks by American Standard. Both make the same noise. We get a noisy sound when the toilet bowl fills up and shuts off. How do I stop the noise?

I hate to say it, but I would take the two valves out and return them... Pick up two Fluidmaster 400A, or just about anything else... Those Am. Std. valves are the worst I have seen and I have seen a few... They will leak very quickly and are just not very good... I am not an American Standard hater, but those valves should never have been sold...
