wall covering in bathroom? what material to use?
hi all. working on that small (14x28) deer camp cabin out in the woods and i'm working on plumbing and finishing out the interior. i'm going to be putting T1-11 plywood on the walls everywhere else in the cabin, but i have no idea what i'm going to do in the bathroom. would that stuff be just as good? or do i need to put something a little more waterproof up in there? i really have no idea what the requirements are. it's just a regular bathroom (36" shower, sink, toilet). i don't really want to use drywall b/c i don't want to have to spackle/sand the thing. i've got a finishing nailgun and would like to get wall coverings up as soon as possible. any reason NOT to use plywood in there?

I would probably use a tile board rather than the T1-11 plywood, simply because it is more mosture resistant and so much easier to clean. Check at Lowes or HD -- this stuff somes in 4X8 sheets, can be as plain or fancy as you want, and has all of the extrusions you need for joining one panel to the next, making corners, etc. (While at Lowes or HD, go into their bathroom -- every one of their stores I've ever been in has it on the walls, at least in places!!)
