hot water tank

hot water tank

I had a hot water tank installed last october,
it has worked fine untill recently,
now it seem to run out of hot water after 5 minutes
but not every day, it is an intermittant thing
any suggestions

could if be a faulty breaker?

Assuming that this is an electric, it could be a faulty element, thermostat, or dip tube.
If it was a faulty breaker, it would have no power at all. The breaker would keep tripping.
Do a Search above for all kinds of info on troubleshooting and repairing Water Heater elements and tstats.

Less then 1 year on a new water heater, this is under a warranty, contact the installer or the manufracture of the heater.
