shower heads

I am in the process of remodeling a bathroom. I am thinking about having a second shower head installed. I am getting different advise on if it is necessary to change to 3/4" pipe from
1/2". I am having trouble figuring out if I just need a diverter valve or a second set of pipes. Is there anything else I need to change out while the shower is torn down? I am lost and confused. Thanks

Cool

I think that I would just use another 1/2" showerhead line Teed off the existing one, and go up to 3/4" from the nearest hot and cold 3/4" to supply both at the faucet body.
That should give you plenty of volume AND pressure for two showerheads.
Good luck!
Mike
