C-Pvc for Sink

I'm putting in a new sink. the existing piping is copper. Because I an not skilled at sweating the copper connections I thought I would use c-pvc instead. Is there any disadvantages or problems using the c-pvc? Should I just suck it up and sweat the connections?

Thanks

CPVC is just fine, and in fact can last as long as copper if installed correctly... You will still likely have to make a transition form the copper to the CPVC with a sweat adapter or you can just use a compression fitting to transition...
