Removing Tub

I'm renovating a bathroom. But, I need to do it in stages. Should I remove ALL the sheetrock in order to install the new tub, which is the width of the room, or can I do the sheetrock before? I'm not asking about the wall area that surrounds the tub.

you need the sheetrock removed so you can put the new tub in. The apron on the tub needs to pass inside the stud wall as you are dropping it in place.then when the tub is level it will fit inside the opening.

LOw hot water pressure

I have very low water pressure from my hot water side of my upstairs bathroom tub. Earlier, I had calcium deposits (crystals) blocking my kitchen faucet and washing machine. Someone told me it was excessive heat from my hot water heater, causing the crystals. I lowered the thermastat and flushed the hot water heater which seemed to slow the problem down. But, the hot water side of my bathtub is at a trickle. the sink faucet only a few feet away runs fine. Is there anyway to clear the bathtub faucet if it is clogged.

Kitchen sink won't drain!!

Ok, about a month ago, my kitchen sink drains VERY VERY VERY slowly. Called a plumber, he snaked from the kitchen sink, then from the roof vent. Niether corrected the problem. He had no idea what to do so he left. I rented a snake and did it myself again, dodn't work. However, the toilet, tub, bathroom sink all seem to drain fine. Everything shares the same vent as thery are all roughly within five feet of each other. Does anyone have any idea on what is going on here, it's truely driving me nuts!! Thanks...:mad:
