bathtub faucet

I am in the early process of trying to repair a 20 year old drippy Koehler bathtub faucet. I have the water turned off. I took the screw out of the face of the handle. The handle will not come off. There is a space at the bottom of the round plate behind the faucet. I assume there is some type of a screw that is holding it in place, but I have no idea what to use to loosen it. Can anyone help?

If the handle is stuck, sometimes tapping around the outside edge can loosen it up, if not then get a handle puller from Home Depot or some other plumbing store.
