showerhead frustration

i'm all for saving water with low flow - but i'm really frustrated with the showerheads being sold now - instead of a 10 min shower it's taking 45min to get water to the scalp (really thick hair) and driving me nuts!
(psi is good elsewhere)

anyone know of a showerhead that will actually do something beside 'dripple' (awwww - remember those old messager types that could almost 'hurt'?)

may sound silly, but it's becoming a pet peeve and it's not like i can try them out in the store. it's becoming expensive too.

Just get one that doesn't say that it's a "water-saver". They still sell the regular showerheads.
Also, some of the "water-savers" have flow restricters that can be removed.
Good Luck!

Pick up most any good brass shower head. Most will have a screen or round disk inside take it out. Then look down into shower head from the threaded side.Alot have a tiny hole around 1/6"take a drill bit and drill out larger 1/4" don't take much.I do this to all the shower heads i install keeps me from having to go back or owner calling the shop complaining about water flow.
