smell from bathroom sink

I have an unusual smell coming from my master bathroom sink/drain. Everything is working fine and there does not appear to be any blockage. Where is this smell coming from and how should I get rid of it??

Cool

If it smells like sewer gas, it may mean a blocked vent, which means going up on the roof and clearing any leaves, debris, etc. from the vent pipe(s) and flushing it down with a water hose sprayer.
OR, it could be odor from algae build-up in the sink drain and overflow hole, in which case you can clean it out with a good enzyme-based drain cleaner like DrainCare.
Good Luck!
