Question Plumbing

I am putting in a garage and going to add drain for a half bath, I purchased a 90 degree long elbow and piping. How far do you have to have the elbow in the concrete, will it make the corner weak if a 4" elbow is placed in it.

anyplace where you have slab concrete thinner than about an inch and you are asking for trouble. Usually your side walls are poured with footings to hold up the garage and then the slab is poured independent of the footings. As a rule keep your pipe out of the corners, out of the footings and in the slab.

also a 3" drain should be adequate for your project.

Your description was a little vauge, perhaps if you could be more specific we could give you a more refined answer.
