Injector

We are adding a bathroom in the basement...how can we tell if we need an injector?

I believe that you mean a sewage ejector pump.
You'll need one if the main sewer line is above the basement level. You'll need to lift the sewage up to the main line.

Flotec pump

Hi, I live on the Florida east cost, seaside. My old Aermotor 1.5HP sprinkler pump recently died--rusted out. I purhcased a Flotec equivalent at HOme Depot. It's still in the box. Before I have my plumber install it, I'd like to get some feedback on the quality of Flotec pumps. The pump will be installed on an artesian well with it's own pressure. You feedback is appreciated. Replacing toilet flange after tile job?

Hello, I just tiled a bathroom and I'm about to reinstall my toilet. I'm not sure how to secure my flange to the floor, though. The height of the flange is perfect. And I tiled up to it. So that means my flange will have to be screwed through the tile, into the floor. Whats the best way to do this? I've seen a screw and plastic anchor set at Home Depot that looks like it would be the right size. Is it just a matter of drilling that pilot hole, inserting the plastic anchor, and screwing it down? Thanks! James
