Replace cast iron DWV pipe?

I'm in the middle of partially rehabbing my house and I have all of the plumbing on my 2nd floor exposed. I'm going to drywall the walls and ceilings but I wanted to find out if I should replace the cast iron DWV pipe. Part of it has already been replaced with pvc, should I replace the rest of it?

If so, any idea how much that will run me? It's a 2 story rowhouse with cast iron from the 2nd story to the roof, PVC on the first floor to the basement and cast iron about 2' from the foundation.

Thanks!

Replacement of old pipes is always a good thing, as for how much this might cost, take a trip to a Home Center near by and see what the pipe and fitting will cost.

Go ahead and replace cast-iron with pvc.

Peace of mind is great to have with plumbing.
