Loose handle

Hi
I have a relatively new shower handle that is like a right angle curve or bend-it controls the hot and cold water. I want to tighten it and also learn how to remove it in case I need to. It is Moen and there are two screws that hole the big plate against the wall but I do not see any set screws or any way to get it off. I've got and used faucet pullers but I do not think that this is the case here. I can see some plastic teeth like a white plastic gear in side as I sneak a peek behind it but no visible means of getting it off. Any Ideas??
Thanx.
Pete

Removing Shower Handle

There should be a set screw somewhere around the permiter of the handle that you need to loosen. Typically you will need an allen wrench to do it. Once that is loosened the handle should slide right off......

Good luck.....

Go to www.moen.com and look up spec sheet for the model faucet you own.

Moen has a great site that will show you exactly what you have and will give a clear view of what needs to come off and in what order.
