Urinal Flush Valve Adjustment

When flushed, only a small amount of water enters urinal. Does proper adjustment involve the large screw on top, or the small screw in front, OR both???

The pipe that comes through wall..........it's first turn of direction....there is a valve if it is a sloan.

If you take that cap off...........use a screwdriver and turn counterclockwise to allow more water into flushometer.

Consider the fact that flush assembly might need replacement.

If this just started to happened, there is a little hole, in a diaphram inside the valve, that needs to be ceaned out. Or you could just replace the part.
If the urinal was recently worked on and you noticed this, you have to match the right sized diaphram with urinal. There are 3.5 gal urinals with kits no longer available but parts are retrofitted to a 1 1/2 gal or even 1/2 gal flush. This doesn't look like much water in these units.

Chrome covered valve Dunber Plumber mentioned is usually used as a stop valve but it can be used as an adjusting valve.
