installing a single handle shower assembly

is it a large hassle to change from a dual handle system to a single handle system? i have adequate access to the plumbing through a door behind the shower. how about a brand that's dependable and afordable.
i am goin to be replacing the tub and shower surround at the same time.

If you are doing the tub and tub surround at the same time, then accessability is no issue.
If you can sweat copper, then there is no problem with instaling a new tub and shower valve.
Moen is a good brand as it has tremendous customer service if you have any problems at all in instalation or even years from now for replacing cartridges that wear out in 15-20 years.
It's really a Ford - Chevy kind of thing. Gerber, Delta, and American Standard are other good choices.

More questions, ask and someone will answer you...Good luck
