Question Fill Valve Problem?

Three days ago, I replaced the fill valve/float on one of my toilets. It seems to working ok, but when it shuts off after a flush, it is unusually loud and jarring. I initially thought it might be hitting something on the way up but that isn't the case. It is such a jolt that it vibrates the hose which supplies water to the tank. I'm concerned that this will eventually lead to leaks. Any cause for concern? Will this improve with time and usage?

Thanks as always.

Check the water pressure in the house; anything above 60 is considered high pressure and in my area 80 and above requires PRV and Expansion tank at time of water heater install. Varies though from either state and different counties.
