Concrete Bath Tub

we're trying to build a bathtub within a concrete space 72"x34 with steps down to it. We have several questions
- this 'tub' would pretty much sit on the ground and we're trying to find a way to maintain the water hot while someone is bathing
Any ideas on inline heaters/insulation etc would be welcome

- we're thinking of finishing the tub in either some kind of plaster or tile , probably plaster would be better. Any ideas on best kind of plaster to use or some finish that we could use that would be smooth to bare sking and also enable us insulate well in some way

Any other ideas on how to do this are VERY welcome. We have 3 steps down to the tub lower two are at 14" and I haven't been able to find a drop in whirlpool or similar that would help us solve the water problem but is shallow enough to work in this space

THanks!
