not my specialty but you can call this #

if your system uses salt and you are on a septic system it will over time ruin it.
it also removes to much of the calcium
in the water.

How to remove these faucet handles?

The faucet in my utility sink began leaking, so I was about to take the valves apart to see about replacing the seals. I can't for the life of me figure out how the hot and cold handles come off. There is no obvious screw or plastic cap covering a screw. It's a cheap peerless faucet and the one-piece handles are shaped like large L-shaped ice cubes (hard to describe). Any ideas?

Clear lines, but still won't drain

Our first floor bathroom sink drains very slowly (i.e., takes several days to drain one or two quarts of water). We've had it snaked professionally, and we told that there is no blockage. The drain was not this slow when we bought the house 5-1/2 years ago. What could be the problem? Any ideas for a solution?
