PVC Joint Leaking

I have an unusual situation that I need to fix. During my construction project at home, I made a cheap, hidden storage area out of six inch sch 40 pvc. It is about 18" long and is setting verticle in the ground with on end nearly flush with the slab floor. The deepest end has a cap glued on and the other end a cleanout screwed in to allow access. The problem is that I didn't glue the cap on well enough since water will seep in when we get alot of rain that saturates the ground. Since I can't easily remove the pipe, how could I seal that capped end? I have thought about pouring something into the pipe until it is above the joint, that will cure and seal the leak.

Using PVC Glue, apply several coats of glue on the inside of the pipe where the joint is at, this should work.
