I plan on installing a basement shower to the now existing half-bath. There is a concrete floor and the waste lean-out plug is in a small pit about 1 foot deep. The DWV stack is cast iron. After cuting the concrete how do I tie-in to the waste line?

IF YOU ARE MAKING THE CONNECTION ON A HORIZONTAL OR VERTICLE WASTE LINE JUST RENT
OR PURCHASE A PAIR OF RATCHETING CHAIN CUTTERS,IF YOU ARE JUST ADDIND A SHOWER I
WOULD PURCHASE A 4X2 OR A 3X2 CAST IRON WYE
FITTING (DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF THE LINE YOU ARE TIEING INTO)IF THE LINE THE SHOWER WILL FLOW INTO IS NOT A VENT OR IS NOT VENTED
YOU WILL NEED TO PULL A RE-VENT,THAT WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN THE SHOWER TRAP AND WHERE
IT WILL TIE INN. GOOD LUCK
