Leaky outdoor faucet

I have a leaky outdoor faucet that I use to water my plants. It constantly drips, I finally found the cutoff valve inside and cut it off. My question is: How do I fix it? Is it pretty much the same way you would fix one inside (although I haven't done that either). The house is 15 years old. Any advice/guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

With water off, remove cap of hose bib with adjustable wrench. Replace washer on end of stem (probably a flat washer). Easy to do. Good Luck!
