My toilet bowl flushes, but is continuously running water past the water line and into the overflow drain.
It was repaired before I bought the home and doesn't have the ballcock.
How can I fix it?

Had the same problem- go to Running Toilet Repair How can I fix it?[/B][/QUOTE]
You may have to dismantle (unscrew)the valve seat and rest of unit. I found a split in the plastic guide rod attachment. Hope this makes sense,Im not familiar with the terminology.New part cost me $3.00 Australian.Very grateful for the advice.

Cool

tcl: Try pinching the clip on the side of the float cup and sliding it down a bit on the little rod. That will lower the fill water level. Probably all that's wrong. Good Luck!
