Cool

I have a 1922 Bungalow that has galvanized & copper piping. I am looking to re run the plumbing. I was always taught that copper rules... why is there a stigma to using cpvc pipe? it's ease of use and cost savings make it an attractive alternative to copper.

Check with your local bldg. dept. and see if CPVC is legal where you live. Copper will last longer. Do you want to replumb the house again?

Lefty is right. Unless you live in an area that has incredibly corrosive water ( good reason to move ) copper is really the only sure thing. Also make sure that they or you use L series, you get exactly what you pay for.
