I need to change the hot water faucet in my bathtub because it is leaking really bad. I am new to all of this and have no idea where to start. Can somebody please help me?

Cool

Turn off water. Remove handle cap with knife point. Remove handle screw and handle. If you can reach hexagonal piece on valve body with a crescent wrench, remove valve. If you can't, you will need a faucet socket to reach in that fits it(these come in different sizes, so you may have to get a set of them). remove valve, and replace washer on end. Check valve seat, and replace it if it's corroded. Take valve to supply place to get the right stuff, or a new hot water valve, if necessary. Good Luck!
