Question

The drain in the sink that I use everyday for shaving, etc. has a bad sewer smell. This is in a 18-year-old house, the smell's been there ever since we moved in last July. Any idea's how I can fix it?

The water drains fine in it, not slow at all. I've tried pouring Clorox down the drain, doesn't help either.

Sounds like there is just a build up of gunk inside the drain. Simply disassemble it and clean everything out, then put it back together.

You mention pouring Chlorox down it but have you tried baking soda & vinegar? Put about 3 TBS. Baking soda in the drain and wash it down with 2 cups of hot vinegar (you can heat it in the microwave or clean the coffee maker with it), let it stay for about 30 minutes and flush with cool water. I'd try this before taking the drain apart however this will needto be repeted monthly.
