Hi:yakn72364

Best advice you'll ever find to replace plumming fixtures <in my opinion> is found at the local family owned and operated plumming and hardware store.

If you can remove the old fixture, do so. Take it with you to the store. You will find helpful, professionial advice there and get the correct part or parts.

Correct installation instructions will also be included with the new faucet fixture and any special tools needed to install it.

Hints:
Buy some plummers pipe lube and sealant for those pipe threads. Apply this stuff as per instructions.

Avoid pipe tape!

Plan on buying a special wrench that will not damage the faucet finish.

Good Luck and Happy Plumming

What is the brand of this faucet, you say on top do you mean it's a deck mount faucet?

Is there an access panel to the back side of faucet?
