Hi:[email protected]

If the faucets drip water when turned off, you will have to remove the faucet handles, remove the valve stems and install new washers.

Hints:
The screw to remove the handles is located just under the tiny press in caps found in the center of the handles.

These are usually marked with a C for cold and a H for hot.

To remove the stems, use an adjustable crescent wrench or the correct size box and wrench.

After you remove the washer screw <if you can I should say> install the new washer and LUBE the valves threads with a lite grease or oil before reinstalling them. Same for the washer screw and the handle screws.

All else fails, replace the whole faucet valve stems with new ones.

Good Luck and Happy Plumming.

Tom just about said it all

One more thing I like to do is replace the seat located inside the valve, take a flashlight and look inside, you will see the seats make sure they have a smooth surface, if you can run your finger tip around the face of the seat, feel for rough or pitted surface, replaced if there bad.
