FLUSH..water runs on and on
#1

Flush..water slowwwwly fills tank...then endlessly runs into overflow tube. I pull up on the "Fluidmaster" about l/4 inch and all is fine. This happens 3 out of 4 times. Anyone know if it's the Fluidmaster, the handle, the flapper...IT'S MAKING ME CRAZY! I love this site. I even know some plumber terms now but please don't use too many LOL. Thanks Thanks Thanks!

!st do you see a clip on the side of the fliudmaster, squeez it together and push down, this will lower the shut off point for the fluidmaster if this does not work see below.
I would go ahead and replace both the fluidmaster and the flapper, this should solve the problem, besides there not at all expensive.

I DID IT! Mr. Plumber 2000. That clip you said to try pinching...I did, and now it's working great. I'm so excited. I've never done a plumbing thing before. Now if someone says "Have a nice day" I'll say"I just did!" Thank you.<HR>
